Behzad Kianmahd
Chairman & CEO
Behzad is Chairman and CEO of Maxim Commercial Capital. He has successfully founded several businesses internationally in an array of industries including manufacturing, wholesaling, retail, energy, biotechnology, structured finance, and consumer products. Most recently, Behzad was Cofounder and CEO of an equipment finance company specializing in commercial heavy-duty trucks and trailers, leading the company for 10 years since its founding before selling his interests in 2011. He has held board positions at several non-profit and community organizations. Behzad received his BS in Business from the University of Akron in 1978.
Doug Houlahan
Chief Financial Officer
Doug is the Chief Financial Officer of Maxim Commercial Capital. Prior to Maxim, Doug spent 7 years at a successful independent equipment finance company with over $30 million in contract receivables, serving the company as a Managing Director overseeing portfolio financing and business development. Prior to that, Doug worked for Wells Fargo Bank in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has been instrumental in founding and growing several small businesses throughout his career. He earned his MBA from San Francisco State University and obtained his Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) designation in 2004.

Shervin Rashti
Chief Operating Officer
Shervin is the Chief Operating Officer for Maxim Commercial Capital. Prior to Maxim, Shervin launched a commercial division for CapNet Financial Services, serving as its VP of Commercial Lending, and was involved in the origination, underwriting, and packaging of commercial transactions. Prior to CapNet, Shervin was responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of a privately-held commercial equipment leasing portfolio. Prior to leasing, Shervin successfully launched three technology start-ups. He earned his BS from University of California at Riverside and obtained his Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) designation in 2009.

Michael Kianmahd
Vice President
Michael serves Maxim Commercial Capital as Vice President. Prior to Maxim, Michael was an Underwriter with JP Morgan Real Estate Banking, where he was responsible for supporting the management of over $400 million in loan commitments and helped underwrite $1.6 billion in new loan commitments ranging from secured and unsecured term and revolving credit facilities. Michael graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a BS in Business Administration.

Azar Heidari
Accounting & Audit
Azar joined Maxim Commercial Capital in May 2011 from an equipment finance company specializing in commercial heavy-duty trucks and trailers, where she served as Controller since 2002. Azar started her career in Accounting at the National Iranian Oil Company ultimately serving as Vice President for 8 years. From there, Azar immigrated to Sweden with her family and served as Head of Audit for DFDS Shipping Company, reporting directly to the CFO. Azar earned her MS in Accounting from the University of Tehran.
